As of today, Goldmoney Personal and Business users can now instantly purchase any amount of 100% reserved physical gold in the Mint’s Ottawa vault using Goldmoney’s proprietary, closed-loop blockchain technology, for a 0.50% fee and receive free storage for up to 1,000 grams through Goldmoney.

Did I miss something? When did the Goldmoney Platform (formerly Aurum) become blockchain? I've been around long enough to have watched @Roy Sebag expound in town halls that the BitGold Aurum platform was specifically NOT blockchain.

Is this just marketing hype or has something changed fundamentally?

@Melanie @Darrell @Roy Sebag @Josh Crumb @JacHumphrey ?

PS - I'm OK if it is marketing hype. I have 100% faith in the Goldmoney accounting platform - whatever it is. If the world wants blockchain - 'poof' give them blockchain. Problem is that I am a pedant with a long memory, not that 19 months is that long.

PPS - if you wish you can even email me the answer and delete this post. Your secret is safe with me. As I said "I have 100% faith in the Goldmoney accounting platform - whatever it is."
