Much fear mongering with regard to confiscation. Almost like "why bother to buy gold, the govmint will just take it anyway." At least it won't be the Canadian govmint - they didn't want the gold they had.

Although I do fear confiscation should the US decide to return to a gold-based currency, I don't see this happening. The US, Fed, and banks are so entrenched in fiat that I think that going back to gold would be anathema to them.

Yea, this is why I have my vault in Zurich. I have no idea if it gives my gold any more protection, but it makes me feel better. lol
